Je suis un artiste bruxellois travaillant principalement la gravure, la peinture et l'aquarelle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis n\u00e9 \u00e0 Bruxelles en 1966, entre les horizons min\u00e9raux du Valais suisse et la douceur bois\u00e9e des environs de Bruxelles. J'ai form\u00e9 mon regard \u00e0 la grammaire et \u00e0 la rigueur de l'image, d'abord \u00e0 l'IATA de Namur, puis \u00e0 l'INSAS \u00e0 Bruxelles. J'ai ensuite consacr\u00e9 plusieurs ann\u00e9es au documentaire, cam\u00e9ra \u00e0 l'\u00e9paule.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depuis 2016, je me suis \u00e9loign\u00e9 du mouvement des 24 images par seconde vers la recherche de la vibration de la ligne et de la couleur sur diff\u00e9rents supports et diff\u00e9rentes techniques. Mes \u00ab hypnographes \u00bb naissent d'un geste lib\u00e9r\u00e9 de toute intention figurative. Ils sont une \u00e9criture automatique, un sismographe de l'invisible. Le monotype, ou la couleur ajout\u00e9e, donne alors un corps \u00e0 cette ligne : transparence, densit\u00e9, teinte. Elle devient une pr\u00e9sence sensorielle plut\u00f4t qu'un simple dessin. Je privil\u00e9gie le format carr\u00e9, qui abolit l'horizon et attire l'\u00e9nergie vers les profondeurs de la composition. C'est un territoire \u00e0 la d\u00e9rive fait d'ombres et d'entrelacs, o\u00f9 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 choisit de se d\u00e9rober.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
