There is no single focal point; the eye is constantly guided by the flow of forms.
I attempted to create a tension between the two techniques: Monotype (the green background) brings spontaneity and textural softness, while woodcut (the red lines) brings rigidity and sharp precision.
This work is a purely abstract exploration of line and color. It does not seek to represent, but rather to evoke a sensation: that of being immersed in a pattern, or of observing a vibrant energy beneath a restless surface. The intensity created by this contrast is meant to convey a kinetic energy to express a sense of agitation.
